The shipping company "Westewind" is based in the picturesque village of Wemeldinge, located at the south bank of the Eastern Scheldt river in the southwest of The Netherlands.
The m.v. "Westewind" measures 2,080 GT and was built in 2003. She is provided with stackable pontoon hatches, one box shaped cargo hold and two moveable bulkheads.
Sailingarea
The vessel is constructed for trading at sea as well as on most of the West European rivers, whilst the general trading area covers entire Europe, including the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
Project-cargo
She is suitable to carry a wide range of dry (bulk) cargoes and is well equiped for the carriage of project cargoes.
